Name: Sir Soundwave

Appearance:
Age: Around 4 million I would say.
Gender: Male (Giant robot)
Personality: He's very charismatic, optimistic, and acts as the Decepticon "Morale Officer" as well as the communications officer. It's really hard to get this guy down. He acts a lot like his teenage human friends, as in he's not very serious and is more likely to try to find ways to have fun, rather than work, unless something serious is going down, and even then he will still try to crack some jokes.
Cliffjumper had stated in one of the stories, that Soundwave would fit right in with the California coast culture just fine, if California still existed in their universe. When he meets someone new, he is most likely going to call them "dude" or "dudette," and he may continue calling them that unless he comes up with some kind of nickname for them.
Also a formidable warrior, he is very loyal to Megatron and the Decepticon cause, and has a very strong sense of what is morally right and wrong. That doesn't necessarily mean he always follows the rules. He would sometimes break them if he thinks they're 'bogus' and conflict with what he thinks is the right thing to do. Of course this has gotten him into trouble several times.
He is also not one to shy away from battle. In fact, if there is a battle with evil Autobots or any other force that is against the Decepticons, Soundwave would be one of the first to go charging into battle. Because he is just about fearless in battle, he was honored by being knighted and given the title of "Sir" by the Queen of Great Britain.
Backstory:
When Soundwave was just out of communications and programing school he accidentally hacked into the military channel and started broadcasting pirated material. As a result, he gain the Cybertronian equivalent of a juvenile record. He didn't mean to do it, though a good thing did come out of it. He was noticed and was hired for the Decepticon cause and became the lead communications officer as well as becoming a formidable warrior.
For a long time he fought along side Megatron and the other Decepticons against the evil terrany of Optimus Prime and his Autobots. He was also part of the crew of the Nemesis that went with Starscream to follow the Ark to Earth. When they started approaching Earth the Nemesis was shot down by Earth's military defenses and resulted in abandoning ship in escape pods.
Soundwave's pod crashed near a roadside museum, and since he was in stasis, the owners of the museum put him on display as "Monstroso, the Robot Horror from Beyond." That was until Heatwave found him, talked to his escape pod, got him out of stasis and had him scan a new alt mode, this time a van.
From there, they meet up with the recordicons and start looking for where the Nemesis crashed. When they find a the site, they meet their human allies, and dig out part of the Nemesis and be reunited with Cliffjumper and Starscream.
The Decepticons where originally planning on keeping a low profile on Earth, but that was blown out of the water when Rodimus Prime decided to make a world wide broadcast and hold the whole planet hostage. As a result of the following battle, Earth became aware that there were two factions of giant robots from outer space. So the Decepticons did their best to be the good guys for the human population. Soundwave was no different in this. In fact, he was knighted for his heroic deeds by the Queen of Great Britain, so his official title became Sir Soundwave.
So, fighting Autobots and troublesome human criminals becomes the norm for him and his fellow Decepticons. That is, until they build a Stellar Spanner in order to travel back and forth between Cybertron with.
Moral Standing: Righteously good!
Dreams: Like most of the Decepticons in his universe, he would like the long on going war with the Autobots to be over and live peacefully. And of course to share his taste in music all over Cybertron with his own channel.
Fears: Anything bad happening to his friends.
Extra: Though he is mainly the communications officer, Soundwave is also a very skilled warrior. He carries a sonic cannon that can also convert into a monomolecular blade which vibrates at the speed of sound.
Also, as the communication's officer, he is a very skilled hacker, being about to get into most secured networks.
